Deere built the SoundGard cab from 1972 into the early 90s and put a steel ashtray in the console where a cup holder should have been. If you run a 4030, 4040, 4240, 4440, 4450, 4640 or 4850, you already know the drink either rides between your knees or on the floor.

The ashtray comes out

Pull the factory ashtray out of the console and you are left with an opening that is shared across the 30, 40 and 50 Series SoundGard cabs. That opening is what our SoundGard ashtray replacement cup holders are modeled to. They drop into the same spot and hold a standard 12 oz can or a bottle without touching the console around it.

What fits what

The console opening is shared across the 30, 40 and 50 Series SoundGard cabs, so one ashtray replacement covers all three. The 55 and 60 Series cab is different and has its own part. If you are not sure which cab you have, the model list on each product page spells out what it fits, and the 55 Series is the 4055, 4255, 4455, 4555, 4755 and 4955.

If you want more than one drink

The ashtray gives you one spot. For a second cup, a phone, or a 30 oz tumbler, the 40 Series collection has the corner post bracket, the ball mount and the pop can inserts. The 40 Series cab kit bundles the common ones and takes 10 percent off when you put three in the cart.

Why it is printed and not molded

Nobody is going to tool a mold for a 45 year old console. We model the part off a real cab, print it in PETG on our own print farm in Lismore, MN, and test-fit it before it goes in the store. PETG handles a closed cab in July and a January start without going brittle.
